Move my fish offers a professional, stress free, aquarium removal service. We hold a Type 2 Animal Transport authorization, which is valid for road journeys over 8 hours. This means that we can carry out both national and international fish tank removals. We are also one of the few aquarium removals companies that can offer fully heated and oxygenated transport for your livestock and filtration media. This is essential for longer journeys and by ensuring the filter media is kept oxygenated there will be very minimal bacteria loss.

Making sure that the fish and any other livestock makes it to the new house or office happy and healthy. Of course, they are animals, and no matter how much any one tries there will always be a level of stress on them. As we are moving fish tanks all of the time we have come across different obstacles and how to overcome them. Alongside over 10 years within the aquatic industry working on a very wide range of aquarium installations.

 

We offer a full dismantling, moving and re-installation service. An optional deep clean is also available if wanted (further charges apply). We always ask to see a photo of your fish tank first so we have a good idea of your livestock. This is to make sure we are fully prepared for moving your aquarium.

 

The aquariums are always wrapped up with care and the fish go into their blacked out, heated and oxygenated transport containers. We keep as much of your water as possible. We usually have to change some as the last few litres coming out of the tank can be dirty. The rocks, decor and gravel are removed so your fish tank will be 100% empty before transportation. Once we get to the end destination (sometimes after a long wait for solicitors to sort out all of the paperwork!) the aquarium is reinstalled in the reverse order. We always leave the aquariums fully running with all of your fishy friends back in their home.
